ABOUT IJLXS
International Journal of Lu Xun Studies (IJLXS) (Print ISSN: 3136-1617; Online ISSN: 3136-1625) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Hong Kong Information Education Publishing Company Limited. IJLXS publishes two issues each year in both Chinese and English.
Scope and Topics
The International Journal of Lu Xun Studies centers on comprehensive academic research concerning Lu Xun and his cultural heritage from a global perspective, covering all-dimensional transregional and interdisciplinary research topics related to Lu Xun. The journal mainly publishes original research achievements including historical records of Lu Xun’s life, close textual readings, ideological theories, translation and communication studies, Sino-foreign comparative analyses, and reception history. It encompasses textual interpretations of Lu Xun’s fictions, essays, letters, fine art works and translated writings, as well as researches on the connections between Lu Xun and modern Chinese society, ideological enlightenment and literary and artistic innovation. Cross-border studies such as translations of Lu Xun’s works across different countries, overseas reception of Lu Xun, and comparative research on the dissemination of Lu Xun in East Asia and the world are also accepted. All papers published in this journal shall fully protect Lu Xun’s personality rights including his right to name, reputation and likeness. No manuscripts that distort, belittle or vilify Lu Xun’s life, ideology and spiritual heritage will be printed. Rooted in a global academic vision, the journal takes rigorous and specialized scholarly research as its core development orientation, and is committed to inheriting and promoting Lu Xun’s spirit and cultural heritage.

IJLXS is a fully open access journal that provides immediate and permanent free access to all published content for all users worldwide without requiring any article processing charges (APCs) or subscription fees. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license, allowing unrestricted sharing, distribution, and reuse with proper attribution. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal publishing rights. We support responsible scholarly sharing by permitting authors to deposit preprints in any repository without embargo and postprints immediately upon publication. This sustainable model maintains the highest standards of peer review and editorial quality while eliminating financial barriers to knowledge dissemination.
